Wetherby Autumnal walks
Get out there this autumn and experience all the colours autumn has to offer. These walks are great for a leisurely stroll or to walk off your roast dinner.
Collingham to Wetherby
This walk starts at the beautiful Collingham church; it’s roughly 3.4 miles long and it’s an easy walk so suitable for every fitness level. There is some road walking on this route but mostly through farmland and one stye. This walk is on the View Ranger website click here for more details.
Wetherby and the River Wharfe
This walk starts in Wetherby and takes you along the scenic banks of the River Wharfe. This walk can be done in around two hours and is approximately 3.5 miles. It is classed as an easy walk through farmland mostly on the flat. This route is dog-friendly. More details on this walk are available on the AA website Click Here.
Wetherby to Spofforth Round
This walk is approximately 8.5 miles long and is described as an easy route along some parts of the dismantled railway. This route is also for those of you who like a bit of a challenge, as you can see from the hand-drawn map. If you know the area it is self-explanatory, but for those of you who like a good puzzle, you will enjoy figuring it out.
