The popular suburb benefits from 1 large high school rated Good by Ofsted alongside 8 primary schools; 4 of which have been labelled Outstanding and the rest considered Good! Horsforth High School has an additional Sixth Form, giving higher education to those aged 16-18. The education system in Horsforth doesn’t stop there, Leeds Trinity University is also located in the heart of Horsforth offering a range of Degree level course, it’s easy to see why it is such a popular area for families.

Moortown is situated between Roundhay and Gledhow and within close proximity to Chapel Allerton and Alwoodley, as a result, there is a wide range of schools in the area. Within a 3 mile radius of Moortown, there are around 20 primary schools to choose from, with 10 of those rated as Outstanding in the most recent Ofsted reports. Moortown and surrounding areas are also home to a number of large secondary schools offering education to ages 11-18 including the Independent Grammer School at Leeds in Alwoodley.
