Sporty pupils look great in new polo shirts
Pupils at Crigglestone St James CE Primary Academy near Wakefield look great in their new polo shirts and sports tops.
The impressive kit, complete with the school badge, has been sponsored by the local branch of Residential Sales and Lettings Agent Manning Stainton as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
Mark Duce, Upper School Leader says: ‘We have not had a new sports kit for a number of years due to budget restrictions so the whole school was excited when the delivery arrived.
‘New kits are a real driving force in getting children involved with sport. The chance to wear the official shirt and represent the school in various competitions is a tremendous source of motivation across all our year groups. We are extremely grateful to Manning Stainton for helping to make this possible.’
Chris Appleton, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch in Wakefield, and Lettings Manager, Amardeep Lall visited the school recently to check out the new tops.
‘They looked fantastic and the sight of all the smiling faces told you everything you needed to know about how much this means to the children,’ said Chris.
Amardeep added: ‘As a company at the heart of the community we love supporting schools like St James CE Primary Academy and other groups and organisations who do a wonderful job, particularly on behalf of our young people.
‘Over the past 12 months we have contributed in excess of £50,000 to over 50 such groups and 2017 has already got off to a very busy start.’
Manning Stainton Wakefield also sponsored the Family Fun Zone at the city’s recent annual Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb. Meanwhile, the local branch of Fine & Country at Manning Stainton kitted out the Wakefield Girls’ High School under 14’s Hockey team with new sweat shirts.
The Manning Stainton branch on Northgate is open 7 days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am – 8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
