Rugby playing boys and girls at Grimes Dyke Primary School in Seacroft have received a brand new kit, courtesy of Manning Stainton.
The Crossgates branch of the area’s leading estate agent sponsored the stylish kits as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
Lesley Robinson, Manager of the branch on Austhorpe Road in Crossgates, said: “We are always happy to receive requests from the local community for help. In 2017 we donated over £50,000 to 115 deserving groups and organisations just like Grimes Dyke who do such a wonderful job, often with very limited budgets.”
Angela Beall, the school’s Assistant Head, added: “Sport is a really important part of the curriculum and we encourage children to participate in as many different sports as possible in order to learn a range of skills and disciplines, while at the same time having lots of fun.
“The new kits are a great incentive for our year 5 and 6 pupils to try their hand at rugby if they haven’t already done so. We hold training sessions every week and we are a partner school of the Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Rhinos Foundation.
“Everyone connected with the school is extremely grateful to Manning Stainton for their continued support. Not only have they sponsored the new rugby kits but they have previously funded the purchase of football kits and track suits. They really are incredibly generous.”
The Crossgates branch is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
