Footballers at a primary school in north east Leeds are celebrating after receiving a brand new playing kit courtesy of Manning Stainton.
The Crossgates branch of the area’s leading estate agent kitted out the Under 11’s team at Grimes Dyke Primary School in Whinmoor as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
The football mad youngsters have already made quite a name for themselves by winning the Leeds Schools Under 9’s League and reaching the cup final during the last school year, and hopefully this success is set to continue.
Callum Postle, PE Coordinator and Sports Mentor at the school, says: ‘The boys deserve their success as they train really hard and are always willing to learn.
‘Thanks to Manning Stainton the new kit looks absolutely fantastic and hopefully it will spur the lads on to achieve even greater things this year. The company is a really good friend of the school and we are extremely grateful to them for their continued support.’
Lesley Robinson, Manager of the Crossgates branch, adds: ‘It is always a pleasure to go into the school and catch up with the pupils and their teachers.
‘Sport is such an important part of the curriculum so it is lovely to see the boys appreciating the opportunities they have been given to participate and develop new skills.’
Over the last 12 months, Manning Stainton has donated in excess of £50,000 to over 50 worthwhile organisations through its support programme. Other local beneficiaries have included Leeds Foster Care Association and East Leeds FC.
The company’s Crossgates branch is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
