Manning Stainton helped ensure a local school’s production of hit musical Lion King was a roaring success.
The Garforth branch of the area’s leading estate agency sponsored the printing of all tickets and programmes for the well-known show performed by the talented pupils of South Milford Community Primary School.
All of the school’s 190 boys and girls took part in some capacity, each one throwing themselves enthusiastically into a variety of roles. The cast performed 4 sell-out shows at nearby Sherburn High School which received standing ovations from proud parents, friends and teachers in the audience.
Head Teacher, Melanie Lawrence says: ‘This is the first time we have done anything on this scale and the whole journey has been incredible.
‘Most importantly it has given our wonderful children the perfect stage to shine and demonstrate their amazing talents, as well as bringing the whole community together like never before.
‘It was crucial that the show was entirely self-funding and we managed to achieve this thanks to the support of generous and kind hearted local companies like Manning Stainton.’
Steve Riley, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch on Main Street in Garforth adds: ‘The school deserves enormous credit for having the vision and determination to put on such a spectacular production. It has been an absolute pleasure to share this experience with them.’
Manning Stainton supported the South Milford Community Primary School through its on-going Community Support Programme which helps groups and other worthwhile organisations in the communities in which it operates. Other local beneficiaries have included Ninelands Primary School, Garforth Tigers Amateur Rugby League Football Club and Garforth in Bloom.
The Garforth branch of Manning Stainton is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
