We are proud to announce that we have managed to raise over £9,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support over the past two months, thanks to the help of our dedicated staff.
Staff from our 18 branches teamed up to hold various events to raise money for the cancer charity. Events included a corporate golf day held at Moor Allerton Golf Club, a car boot sale at Wetherby Race Course, a coffee morning held across several branches and a collection in Leeds city centre.
All the events are part of our 2018 ‘Mannings for Macmillan’ campaign, which has seen our team take part in various activities and initiatives across the year to raise money.
We have supported Macmillan Cancer Support in West Yorkshire since 2012 and have so far raised £175,000.
Mark Manning, Managing Director of Manning Stainton, said: “Macmillan is a brilliant charity that’s close to many of our hearts, so it’s great to see our team coming together and working hard to raise money to support the amazing work it does.”
“All the events held over the past couple of months have been a fantastic success and I’d like to say a big thanks to our team who got involved and to the generous people who supported them and enabled us to raise much-needed funds for Macmillan.”
Matt Jameson, Area Fundraising Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support in West Yorkshire, added: “The team at Manning Stainton has worked tirelessly to raise this money and it’s hugely appreciated. All the money will go towards funding a Macmillan nurse, so a huge thanks to all those involved.”
We are proud to be supporting Macmillan and will continue to work with them to achieve fundraising milestones. Thank you to anyone who attended any of our events.
