A forward thinking local football team has unveiled Manning Stainton as its new kit sponsor for the next two seasons.
Headingley AFC has just completed a highly successful first campaign in the Premier Division of the West Yorkshire League and is already well advanced with plans for next season, according to Chairman Callum Butcher.
‘We really want to hit the ground running and having a kit sponsor in place was an important part of that process so we are extremely grateful to Manning Stainton for their generous support.
‘While we are an amateur club in name we try and do everything on and off the field as professionally as possible and that means forming strong partnerships with community minded companies, ‘explains Callum.
Stevie Sawiuk, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch on Otley Road adds: ‘We have been really impressed with how well organised the club is how and seriously they take their relationship with sponsors, so we are really looking forward to seeing this develop over the next couple of years.
‘Clubs like Headingley AFC play an important role in the community and should be given every encouragement to succeed. We are delighted to play our part in making this happen.
Manning Stainton has helped Headingley AFC through its on-going Community Support Programme which has donated in excess of £50,000 to over 50 clubs, schools and other worthwhile organisations in the last 12 months.
Other groups having benefitted include Leeds Force Basketball Club, St Chad’s Primary School and Meanwood Church of England Primary School.
The company’s Headingley branch is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am – 8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
