Manning Stainton has supported the annual Christmas Fair at the Lighthouse School in Cookridge as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
The Adel and Horsforth branches of the area’s leading estate agent teamed up to sponsor special boards promoting the event which helped attract a large turnout.
School Principal, Emma Sullivan said: ‘The Christmas Fair was a really happy occasion which not only brought pupils and their families together but also lots of people from the local community.
‘I would like to say a special thank you to Natalie Smith and the PTA for the time and effort they have put into organising such a successful event and also to Manning Stainton for their generosity and help advertising it. All the money raised will be used for the benefit of our wonderful pupils.’
Janet Morris, Branch Coordinator at Manning Stainton on Otley Road in Adel and Simone SiMohamed, a Sales Negotiator at the company’s branch on New Road Side in Horsforth also called in to show their support.
Janet said: ‘There was a real feel good factor around the school with everyone enthusiastically supporting the various stalls and of course Santa proved particularly popular!’
Simone added: ‘We were made to feel extremely welcome by Emma and her colleagues and it was lovely that our help was so gratefully received and had such a positive impact.’
