Manning Stainton Provides Kit For Budding Athletes
Manning Stainton has provided budding athletes at a local junior school with a smart new kit.
The Wortley branch of the area’s leading estate agent has sponsored the distinctive green and white strip at Lower Wortley Primary School, one of the leading sporting schools in West Leeds, as part of its Community Support Programme.
The sporty children wore the kit for the first time when they competed in the semi-finals of a city wide athletics tournament featuring 10 schools who qualified via their individual area heats.
At the event they were put through their paces in a range of exciting disciplines including running, long jump, vertical jumps and safe javelin.
Andrew Rowney, Assistant Head Teacher and PE Leader at the school, says: ‘The shirts include the motto ‘Enthusiasm breeds Excellence’ which is a philosophy we all strongly believe in.
‘The results of our sports teams are a reflection of the hard work and commitment of pupils and staff and, thanks to Manning Stainton, these new kits will enable us to make even greater progress, proud of how we are looking and performing!’
Ashleigh Naylor, a Sales Negotiator at the Manning Stainton branch on Lower Wortley Road, says: ‘Encouraging people to participate in sport is extremely important which is why we are so keen to get involved with these kind of initiatives.’
The company has also used its Community Support Programme to help other worthwhile groups in the area including West Leeds Juniors under 7’s and Farnley Football Club.
The Wortley branch of Manning Stainton is open 7 days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am – 8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
