Manning Stainton hosted the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA) Nominations Roadshow at its Moortown branch today (July 24), which was attended by ex-G4 singer, Jonathan Ansell.
The aim of the Roadshow was to encourage the public to make individual nominations for children and young adults to be recognised for their bravery, courage and overall achievements at the YCCA annual awards dinner, which takes place in October.
Speaking about the event, Mark Manning, managing director of Manning Stainton, said: “We’ve supported the Nominations Roadshow event for several years as it encourages people to nominate young people they know for their courage, bravery and achievements. The YCCA event in October recognises these outstanding young people and also raises money for various Yorkshire-based initiatives, so it’s a really great cause.”
YCCA is a truly unique event that combines honouring and recognising courageous young people in Yorkshire with raising funds for St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation. Originally launched in 2011, the annual awards dinner is a significant fundraiser and flagship event for the Foundation. This year’s Awards Ceremony takes place at New Dock Hall in Leeds on Friday October 12 and will be compered by BBC Breakfast’s Steph McGovern and attended by event Ambassadors Hannah Cockroft MBE, The Chuckle Brothers and Jack Carroll.
All money raised at the event is distributed back to the Yorkshire community via grant application.
Manning Stainton is the region’s leading estate agent, with 19 sales and letting branches across Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby and Wakefield. The company also operates Fine & Country, its specialist division that deals with high-value and unique properties.
