Leeds-based estate agent, Manning Stainton, has donated almost £25,000 to local charities, schools, sports clubs and community projects in the first six months of 2018.
From January to June, the estate agent donated £24,085 to a wide variety of local school projects and events, sponsored numerous local sports teams and contributed to community events and festivals happening across the city.
Through its Community Fund initiative, it has supported more than 67 causes, projects, schools and teams over the six-month period, demonstrating its commitment to the local communities it operates in.
Initiatives, organisations and events it has supported range from the Yorkshire Indian Society, Yeadon Carnival and Hope House Pastures to Grimes Dyke Primary School, Horsforth Hall Park Cricket Club, Whitkirk Primary School and Meanwood Festival. It has also raised £5,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support so far this year through a variety of fundraising initiatives.
One of the most recent donations Manning Stainton has made was to Featherbank Primary School in Horsforth. The estate agent donated a Samsung tablet to the school, which was presented to the student with the best attendance in the past year.
