Manning Stainton contributes to school’s fundraising success
A local school has declared its annual fundraising Christmas Fayre a huge success thanks to the support of families, friends and Manning Stainton.
The Adel and Horsforth branches of the area’s leading estate agent made a donation to the Cookridge Primary School Parent Teachers Association (PTA) through its Community Support Programme which helped the total amount raised at the event exceed all expectations.
Bronwen Ella, Chair of the PTA says: ‘The event was really well attended and people were definitely in the Christmas spirit judging by the lovely atmosphere in the hall. We had laid on various festive themed stalls, tombola and a bumper raffle which all proved popular.
‘Our friends at Manning Stainton have once again been most generous in their support and the money raised will allow us to progress various initiatives on behalf of the school including the purchase of outdoor play equipment.’
It is the second time in recent months that Manning Stainton has helped the school having previously made a donation of nearly £500 in support of its summer fund raising fayre.
Caroline Munn, Manager of the company’s Adel branch says: ‘When you go to events like the summer and Christmas Fayres you see at first hand just how much planning and organisation goes into making them a success.
‘That is why we are delighted to use our Community Support Programme to help the PTA and in doing so ensure that all their hard work reaps maximum rewards.’
The Adel and Horsforth branches of Manning Stainton are open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day. They are among 19 residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
