Manning Stainton Celebrates Success of Local Beer Festival
Colleagues from the Horsforth branch of Manning Stainton raised a glass or two to celebrate the success of a local beer festival.
The annual event at Horsforth Hall Park Cricket Club over the Easter weekend attracted huge crowds who were treated to a choice of nearly 50 real ales and ciders, along with a full programme of musical entertainment and attractions.
Sarah Joseph, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch on New Road Side says: ‘The festival is extremely well organised and has quickly established itself as a red letter date in the diary for both beer enthusiasts and families from right across the community.
‘As a major sponsor it is great to be able to share in this success and see the club doing so well. Hopefully the success off the field will be repeated on the cricket field this summer.’
The club’s Vice Chairman Bob Hodson says: ‘We have had an incredible three days which is down to the wonderful people of Horsforth who turned out in such large numbers and a lot of hard work from our loyal staff.
‘It was also great to see our friends from Manning Stainton who are such kind and generous supporters of the club.’
Manning Stainton sponsors Horsforth Hall Park Cricket Club through its Community Support Programme which has benefited over 50 groups in the last 12 months, with donations exceeding £50,000. Other local beneficiaries have included Featherbank, Cookridge and St Mary’s Primary Schools.
Sarah explains: ‘We take our place in the local community very seriously and love being able to help clubs, schools and other worthwhile groups who play such an important role, often with very limited funding.’
