Your Leeds September Bucket List
1. Bottomless Brunch
On a chilly morning what could be more comforting than a brunch pie and bottomless booze. You have the Pieminister to thank for this; they’re putting on bottomless brunch on Saturday the 15th and Saturday 29th in September. Click Here for more details.
2. Check out the latest movies
There are some great releases coming in September….
A Simple Favour, starring Blake Lively. It’s been described as a dark thriller with a comedy edge… Intriguing.
If you’re after a comedy vibe perhaps Night School, starring Kevin Hart. Harts character is forced to enrol in night school and the teacher is not impressed with this trouble maker.
3. Get your cosy on
Get out your candles and blankets ready for those cold nights and mornings that are drawing closer. Get down to TKmaxx to pick up all their new autumn candles. Start thinking about where to get your logs from if you have an open fire, they might be cheaper now than they will be when it gets really cold.
4. Leeds International Beer Festival
It’s like Oktoberfest but better because it’s local and there’s street food and live bands. Beer has been shipped over from Maine in the USA so that we can sample their local brews so the festival is well worth a visit.
5. Go to a football game
Go and support Leeds at Elland Road Stadium on the 18th of September when they play Preston North End. Autumn is football season so it’s time to get your blue white and yellow on and support your city.
We hope you get involved in our September bucket list, October and November to follow.
