Mid – Century Modern
With its origins routed in the design styles of the mid-1900s, particularly in the 1950s and 60s. Mid-century Modern retains a retro nostalgic feel, as well as having elements of minimalism. Fuss-free and functionality are the main elements to bear in mind when attempting to achieve this style.

Traditional
Traditional interior design attempts to enchant and combines history with style. The stereotypical Traditional look would be a grand English country house, with old ornaments, paintings and furniture styles. Although this style has become less adopted by today’s standards, when combined with other styles such as minimalism, it can be stunning.
You should look for:
Dark finished wood, rich colour palettes. Ornate detail and fabrics like velvet, silk and brocade.
Rustic
Drawing inspiration from nature, Rustic design centres on raw and unfinished furniture from materials such as wood and stone make up the defining elements of the Rustic style of design.
You should look for:
Wooden furniture, wrought iron/metals. Natural fabrics like cotton, hemp, linen, wool or animal hides.
