Manning Stainton showed it was in the festive spirit by supporting the Christmas Fair at a local school.
The Pudsey branch of the area’s leading estate agent made a generous donation and produced promotional boards advertising the popular annual event at Greenside Primary School as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
John Putsman, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch on Lidget Hill, said: ‘As a company we take our responsibilities within the local communities in which we operate extremely seriously which is why it was a real privilege to be able to support this important fundraising event.
‘Although Christmas is traditionally the time for giving we are proud to support schools, clubs and other worthwhile organisations right throughout the year in recognition of the fantastic job they do.’
The event was organised by the Friends of Greenside School (FROGS) and Chairperson Lucy Carritt said she was ‘thrilled’ by the turnout and the lovely festive atmosphere in evidence around the school. ‘The event could not have gone any better and the support we received from families and friends was incredible. It definitely made all the hard work and planning worthwhile,’ said Lucy.
‘All the money we raise through the fair and other events during the year goes towards additional equipment and items that the general school budget cannot stretch to. The generous donation made by Manning Stainton should help us achieve our target.’
In the last 12 months Manning Stainton has donated in excess of £50,000 to over 50 community groups. Local beneficiaries have also included Farsley Celtic Under 7’s, Farsley Community Weekend, the Pudsey Carnival and Calverley Church of England Primary School.
The company’s Pudsey branch is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
