The Moortown branch of the area’s leading estate agent has sponsored the stylish blue strip for Wigton Moor under 12’s as part of its on-going Community Support Programme.
Louise Lawrence, Manager of the company’s branch on Shadwell Lane in Moortown says: ‘As a community minded company we enjoy helping clubs such as Wigton Moor who do such a wonderful job providing a safe and secure sporting and recreational environment for our young people.’
The team is enjoying an excellent first season of 9-a-side football and currently sits second in the West Riding Girls League Division One. It is one of 22 junior sides run by the club, from under 8 through to under 18, of which seven are girls’ teams.
Head of Girls Football and Team Manager, Paz Nahl says: ’We are very proud to be a mixed ability team that aims to give any girl interested in football the chance to play.
‘However, it is not always easy finding individual sponsors for every team so we are extremely grateful to Manning Stainton for their kind support. Each team is also responsible for its own fundraising and the under 12’s recently carried out a bag pack at a local supermarket.’
In 2016 the company donated approximately £50,000 to over 50 individual clubs, schools and other worthwhile organisations in and around the local community in which it operates.
The Moortown branch of Manning Stainton is open 7 days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am – 8pm every day. It is one of 19 Residential Sales and Lettings branches across West and North Yorkshire helping people move.
