“You’re number one with us, Shelley!” The Pudsey team show their approval. |

Although joining Manning Stainton’s Pudsey branch just a year ago, 34 year old Shelley Gunter has already achieved the company’s Negotiator of the Month Award.
And, she says, despite all the recent media speculation about the housing market the Pudsey branch is “as busy as ever”.
Staff right across the group – who voted Manning Stainton into the prestigious Sunday Times “Best 100 Small Companies to Work For” listing for the past two years – are awarded points for a range of criteria based around the best client service, and Shelley says it’s this professional, friendly service which attracted her to the company:-
“Repeat business is always a good sign” she says “and clients regularly buy and sell through this office. Though, obviously, we maintain a professional approach to clients’ needs we do sometimes feel we’re part of their family!”
Pudsey, with its broad mix of property types and proximity to Leeds’ road and rail networks, has weathered many a “blip” in the housing market and last year was no exception; viewings are up, serious buyers are in the market and 2008 looks very much like business as usual.
And Shelley’s winning bonus? “I’m renovating an older property so it’ll come in very handy for new carpets!” she says!
