So say Stephen & Sharon Cotter who turned to Wakefield estate agents Fine & Country at Manning Stainton in Wood Street, Wakefield when their impressive home in Brandy Carr Road in the Kirkhamgate area of the City failed to sell after six months with another agent.

“We’d never sold a property before so we were a bit apprehensive about estate agents in general” they said: -

“Manning Stainton had originally valued our property for sale along with another estate agent but we were swayed by the slightly cheaper deal offered by the other estate agent . We quickly learned that you get what you pay for in life!”

The couple, who run a successful shop fitting business and were looking to downsize to a smaller property, decided to call Fine and Country after attracting only three visitors over the six-month period.
