New house buyers Come at 100 Per Day!

In February Manning Stainton registered new house buyers looking for property for sale across Leeds, Wakefield and Wetherby at the rate of over 100 per day! 

This bears testament to the high level of sales which we have seen since the start of 2007. 

Furthermore, the number of property owners seeking valuation advice ahead of sales have also been at unusually high levels confirming that there are a great many people intending to move in 2007.

Whether this will be sustained after the introduction of Home Information Packs (HIPs) which become mandatory on the 1st June 2007 remains to be seen.  The likely cost of around £500 to a property seller, whether or not they actually complete a sale, could be a disincentive.  We anticipate an unusually high number of properties coming onto the market ahead of the 1st June deadline.  At present the situation is extremely unclear as the final Government regulations are not published until the 29th March.
