Families Getting the Message in Headingley

A recent initiative by Headingley Development Trust, supported by estate agent Manning Stainton, is bringing families back to the area says Richard Tyler of the Trust:-

“With the help of Manning Stainton we have produced an information leaflet stating the case for increasing Headingley’s diversity and sustainability by actively promoting family homes!”

Headingley Development Trust helps highlight suitable properties for families wanting to move into Headingley and endeavours to find buyers for vendors who do not wish to sell to the rented sector.

And, according to Manning Stainton Sales & Marketing Director David Pank, the scheme appears to be having a positive effect:-

“Our Headingley branch reports that so far this year the majority of house sales in the Headingley, Hyde Park and Woodhouse districts are to families.  Most departing families sell on to new families and some even buy from landlords….”
