Expanding Role for Debbie at Manning Stainton

Debbie Carr has been appointed HR Manager for expanding West Yorkshire estate agency group Manning Stainton. 

And for a lady who enjoys nothing more than scuba-diving sea beds around the world she’s definitely on cloud nine when describing her new role: -

“It’s a fascinating business” Debbie says “and the success of Manning Stainton has a lot to do with loyalty and team ethics.  It’s a focussed and team conscious company with extremely talented people right across the branch network. A key responsibility of the HR team is to develop that ethos as we continue to grow”.

“Employment Law is becoming so complex” she says, “you don’t have to be quite at solicitor level these days, but you have to know your stuff.  Being able to relax outdoors or underwater helps me focus and get things in perspective….”

Debbie lives in York with her two Rottweilers and enjoys gardening and walking. And the secret of staff success?

“It sounds easy but it isn’t” Debbie says. “Make sure you find exactly the right people, be very clear about strategy and then clear the way to help them achieve it!”
