Our Wakefield estate agency office has seen a huge increase in the number of people seeking valuation advice ahead of putting their property on the market for sale.  It is the clearest sign possible that a great deal of confidence in the Wakefield housing market remains despite the two recent interest rate rises.

Sales have continued at a high level and we confidently expect houses for sale in Wakefield to sell well in the coming spring months. 

The economic regeneration of Wakefield with the waterfront development and new commercial developments bringing in more jobs.  Wakefield certainly looks like being one of the most dynamic cities in the next five years with all that is planned and its existing excellent transport links on the M1, M62 and the main Leeds to London rail line.  2007 looks like being an extremely busy year in Wakefield.
