Despite Prince Harry’s erstwhile girl friend, Chelsy, currently studying at Leeds University, reputedly wanting to leave Leeds for more cosseted climes estate agent Manning Stainton is finding that many thousands of people are seeking to re-locate to this vibrant and growing metropolis.
The UK’s second city, in fact, if the financial statistics are to be believed.
So it was with some pride that Gemma Wood – a member of the Manning Stainton Relocation Managers Team – won a £1000 draw prize at the recent Home Sale Network Conference in London attended by over 650 delegates.
The Home Sale Network is a group of over 750 independent estate agency branches throughout the UK – of which Manning Stainton are members – and the Network is affiliated to CARTUS, the largest relocation company in the world with a virtual who’s who of top business names amongst its clients….
Employees relocating with CARTUS are re-directed to www.home-sale.co.uk to find a network member in their area when beginning their new home search, and many of those referrals go to Manning Stainton - leading to a record location year for the company.
The Agent’s Lettings department is receiving over 500 applications a month from people moving to work in Leeds, mainly on relocation programmes.
26 year old Gemma has been with Manning Stainton for two years and says helping people find exactly the home for them is “the best part of my job”. With an upcoming driving test, her £1000 prize will help with a car purchase!
