Meet the Land & New Homes Team

Originally from Nottinghamshire (though I consider Yorkshire as my home), I have worked in the property world since first leaving school and in the New Homes sales for the last twenty plus years - I cannot think of anything I would rather do!

I joined the Manning Stainton new homes  team in 2004 and haven't looked back!

I have worked in the property industry for over 10 years and the New Homes industry, specifically, for approximately 8 years.  I joined Manning Stainton's rapidly expanding New Homes Division in 2005 in the role of Sales Manager.  Our department is very busy on a day to day basis with new sites, projects and show home launches on a regular basis, keeping myself and my whole team very much on our toes!

I have enjoyed working as part of the ever-growing New Homes team since July 2005, initially gaining valuable on-site experience before embarking on my current role based both in the office and out in the field looking after our manned sites. In contrast to the newly built properties I help to sell at work, I recently moved into our latest ‘renovation project’ along with my husband and 2 dogs.  

I started working for Manning Stainton at our Rothwell estate agency office in September 2005, as a Receptionist / Sales Negotiator and as the new homes representative for the office.  In December 2006 I transferred to the Land and New Homes Division as a Field Sales Negotiator, a very busy and satisfying role which allows me to help people to find the ideal new home for them. 

I initially joined Manning Stainton as an Administrator for our Head Office at the tender age of 18! Six years later I now form part of the successful New Homes Division based in Headingley. My role as Marketing Co-ordinator is very varied & busy and involves spending time both in and out of the office visiting sites and branches.  

Originally from Carlisle, I moved to Leeds from Liverpool where I studied for a degree in Environment & Planning, later working for a city centre estate agent.  I also briefly worked in the construction industry.  I'm hoping that the combination of these skills, together with my current role will allow me to fulfil my ambition of developing properties myself. 

I originally began my career within the housing market as a Sales Negotiator for a corporate estate agency, but moved swiftly into the New Homes Sector for a new direction.  Selling new homes for developers is a challenging and rewarding experience, as is helping prospective purchasers to buy their new home, from reservation through to completion and moving in day. 

I have worked in estate agency for 25 years, both as a residential sales negotiator and, for the last 13 years, dealing with all aspects of new homes, for both corporate and individual developers. I joined Manning Stainton in June 2005 to work as a site sales negotiator, which I thoroughly enjoy. 

I joined Manning Stainton in November 2005 as a Part-time Sales Negotiator, working with a good team in our Rothwell Office. I now work for the New Homes Department.  I immensely enjoy helping the public find their new dream home.  I feel privileged and proud to be working for such a professional company. 

Having worked in the textile business for 15 years as a manager of 30 Operatives, I felt it was time to head in a new direction. I have been with Manning Stainton since January 2006 and I am thoroughly enjoying the challenges in my new role. 

I have years of experience of mortgage related work for banks and Building Societies together with years of selling homes through estate agencies and New Home Developers.  I am well placed to guide any new purchaser through the buying process from making the initial decision right through to picking up the keys. 

Earlier this year I returned from abroad to live permanently in the UK. I joined Manning Stainton as New Homes Sales Negotiator in the North Yorkshire area where I sell new and off plan developments to a wide selection of people with diverse needs and ideas. Each day is varied which makes my job interesting and different. As a bonus, I get to meet some very pleasant and happy people!! 

I came into New Homes sales quite by accident 22 years ago. I worked for a small building firm specialising in extensions. They bought a piece of land and built a pair of semis. It fell to me to sell them. I was smitten and still love every minute!
