Congratulations to Bill!

Miller Homes' site manager Bill Hughes has scooped one of three NHBC Supreme Awards for an astonishing fourth consecutive year.

Bill, who's based in Miller Homes' North West region, beat off competition from an initial 15,000 other site managers to win the Supreme Award in the large builder category. This year he earned the prize for his outstanding site management of 'Greenwood', a new homes development made up of 37 detached properties in Manchester.

Speaking at the awards, NHBC's chief executive, Imtiaz Farookhi said: "The winner of the 2006 Pride in the Job Supreme Award embodies the ethos of Pride in the Job and by his example is helping to encourage site managers within his company and the industry as a whole to raise their standards."

Miller Homes' chief executive, Tim Hough, commented: "This is a truly remarkable achievement for Bill. His meticulous attention to detail and excellent leadership has seen him deservedly awarded a top accolade year on year. We're all extremely proud of his achievements and are delighted with all of our winning site managers this year."

12 Miller Homes' site managers picked up Pride in the Job awards at the first stage of the competition and five of those were also honored with the title of 'Seal of Excellence'. Steve Booth, Harry Dainton and Bill Hughes, all from Miller Homes' North West, alongside Vinnie Morris (East Midlands) and James Fenton (Scotland East) earned a place in the top 100 site managers across the UK.
