What things should I consider as my moving day nears?

• When you are confident you will be proceeding with your property sale or purchase, think about removals.

• Ensure you have made arrangements to obtain your new house keys.
• Ensure everyone knows how to get to your new home.
• Have your mobile phone charger handy.
• It will be a long day, so keep a kettle, mugs, coffee, tea bags, sugar, a carton of milk and some teaspoons handy.
• A variety of snacks is also a good idea as your kitchen may not be functioning on removal day.
• Confirm alarm details with the seller.
• Check that all rooms, wardrobes, cupboards and kitchen units are empty and all lights are turned off.
