One and Two Bedroom Properties For Sale Need HIPs

The Government declared on the 22nd November that properties for sale with one or two bedrooms would need HIPs from the 14th December 2007. 

This much awaited news is good news for the HIP industry, good news for first time buyers who will not have to pay for Local Searches, and good news for sellers as their buyers will be better informed earlier in the process and will not have the frustration of buyers waiting until the last minute to commission their searches.

With estate agents offices across Leeds, Wakefield and Wetherby, we have got a good experience of working with HIPs on the three and four bedroom properties and we have had a good reaction to them.

It is clear that some firms of Solicitors will have to get more technologically advanced if they are to deal efficiently and effectively with the electronic HIPs as they are transferred from agent to Solicitor on the agreement of the sale.
