Homes in Leeds Wakefield and Wetherby valued at £1m plus are still not exactly commonplace – yet Fine & Country at Manning Stainton are selling such properties for their clients at the rate of one every three weeks!
That’s in addition to the home sales valued between £0.5m and £1m purchased by discerning home buyers locally, nationally and internationally.
Over the past sixteen months Fine & Country have completed sales on no fewer than eighteen £1m plus homes – achieving a 90% success rate of completions against the total number of marketed properties.
Andrew Butler, Director of Fine & Country Homes at Manning Stainton, says location is still naturally top of every prospective property buyer’s list but people are also looking for development/extension potential in a new home.
Absolute no-compromise quality in fixture and fittings in the property is essential, too.
Andrew points out that Leeds is still a huge magnet for inward investment and the top quality people it brings with it; almost a third of the properties sold went to buyers outside the Leeds Wakefield and Wetherby areas, two of them to international buyers also looking to move to Leeds.
“Marketing is the key,” he says, “and the Fine & Country brand is specifically tailored to market and sell unique properties – not only in the local area but also nationally and internationally, via the website and from the company’s Park Lane, Mayfair showrooms. It’s a very big and important audience and a great opportunity to showcase your property.”
Because of the buoyancy of this sector of the housing moarketa strong off-market initiative is developing from potential buyers, placing their requirements and preferences with Fine & Country for early contact when a suitable property becomes available for sale.
