School of Dance keeping Manning Stainton on their toes!

The Helen Lamb School of Dance has been providing first class dance tutoring in a safe and enjoyable environment in Rothwell for over 18 years.

From tiny tots to adults, a wide range of dancing techniques is taught alongside theatrical skills, and when the school approached estate agent Manning Stainton for a donation from the company’s Community Fund they didn’t need persuading. The cash was needed to help stage the school’s bi-annual showcase of talent “Music Mania” – and all proceeds from the show were being donated to a local charity.

The school’s director Helen Hubbert said an important aim for local businesses was to put something back into the community: -

“All the money raised will be donated to the local Hannah House Hospice,” says Helen, “and we are grateful for Manning Stainton’s support.”

Hannah House is a purpose-built self contained facility in Rothwell, near Leeds, providing short break care for children with complex health needs in a home from home environment.

Gerry Downs, Manning Stainton’s Rothwell Manager, said the Community Fund was set up to support local initiatives and projects such as this.
