Meet the Oakwood Team

Helen Taylor Branch Manager	Having previous estate agency experience I joined Manning Stainton in 1995. I have had the opportunity to cover many different localities; however, having worked at Oakwood and Roundhay earlier in my career I was delighted to return several years ago. The interesting diversity of properties and people within this well established and busy area makes it enjoyable and rewarding.
Gareth Williams Valuer	I have worked for two large corporate estate agents before joining Manning Stainton two years ago. This was my smartest move in the world of property to date. Outside of work, I currently live in Harrogate and enjoy playing golf, socialising and of course Sky Sports!
Shojan Patel Mortgage Consultant	Having attained my doctorate in Chemistry at Leeds University, it became apparent that a life of lecturing was not for me. A career change led to several years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser and consequently an Independent Mortgage Adviser at Manning Stainton. Professional and customer oriented, the future looks rosy at Oakwood.
Tracie Wormley Branch Co-Ordinator	My career originally started in Nursing before my children were born but a change in direction took me to estate agency. I now have 15 years experience, the last two years with Manning Stainton. I have lived in the local area all my life so know it well. I am incredibly enthusiastic about my job and enjoy the challenges it brings to me every day.
Rose Hall Sales Negotiator	I was born in London and raised in North Leeds where I have lived ever since. I have two grown up daughters and have worked for Manning Stainton since 1998 where I’ve gained great job satisfaction whilst applying maximum effort to ensure clients have enjoyable, stress free house moves.
Marti Jeremiah Receptionist / Sales Negotiator	Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Edinburgh in 2006 where I worked briefly as an administrator, before moving to Leeds. I’ve always had an interest in the property industry and am really enjoying my time at Manning Stainton, meeting new people and working in Oakwood which is a lovely area.
Charlene McHale Sales Support	I joined Manning Stainton and the Estate Agency world as an Inter-Branch administrator, and I am now with the Oakwood team. Although I have only been in the industry a relatively short time compared to some of my colleagues, the training and guidance that I have had has been fantastic in helping me to gain the knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
Penny Beecroft Viewer	Having lived in the Gledhow area for the past 12 years I am extremely familiar with the local area, and all the attractions and benefits that it has to offer. Working as an accompanied viewer means I get the opportunity to meet clients face to face and really understand what they are looking for.
Rosie Fern Viewer	Living and bringing up my family in Roundhay for over 20 years has given me a genuine and long standing interest in its deserved revival as a residential area. In 2003 I made a career change from teaching to join Manning Stainton. Professional, outgoing and friendly, I enjoy meeting clients and trying to match their property requirements in the area, which I know and love so well.
Jenny Handley Weekend Sales Negotiator	After spending a year working for a student letting agent, I decided to move into an estate agency role. I joined Manning Stainton in 2003 working as a full time sales negotiator. I am currently studying architecture at Huddersfield University and working at Oakwood on a part time basis.
Angela Kiernan Weekend Sales Negotiator	I was born in Harehills and raised in Oakwood. I worked as an administrator for 13 years before having my first child. Then I worked for a small estate agent for 6½ years, before joining Manning Stainton in December 2005. I enjoy meeting people and helping them find their dream home.
