Meet the Horsforth Team

Sarah Dowthwaite Manager / Valuer	I was born in Manchester, came to Leeds to University, graduated and started at Manning Stainton, where I have been since 1997. I began working at our then new Adel branch and worked with a great team who turned it into a successful office. I opened the Horsforth branch in 2001 where I have been ever since and with the help of my team turned it into a great office. I love my role, responsibilities and the challenge this job brings and I look forward to a long career with the company.
Gareth Williams Valuer	I have worked for two large corporate estate agents before joining Manning Stainton two years ago. This was my smartest move in the world of property to date. Outside of work, I currently live in Harrogate and enjoy playing golf, socialising and of course Sky Sports!
Paul Wilkinson Mortgage Adviser	I have 18 years experience in the financial services industry having worked with several major estate agencies I can say with confidence I have never worked with a team as strong as our Horsforth office in terms of experience, dedication and professionalism. I am very confident that I will be with Manning Stainton for many years to come as they are simply "The Best".
Gill Landale Branch Co-ordinator	I joined Manning Stainton’s Horsforth office in 2003 as an Administrator; in 2006 I was promoted to Branch Co-ordinator. This has been a challenging role and most rewarding at the same time. I thoroughly love my job seeing sales through to completion, working with people and offering the highest quality of service to all our customers.
Karen Gouws Sales Negotiator	I have enjoyed a varied career in fashion and travel and working in South Africa. I joined Manning Stainton’s Horsforth office in 2001 after a career break, as a Weekend Sales Negotiator, and have progressed to a full time Sales Negotiator and Home Sale Network Manager. I love coming to work and enjoy all the challenges and goals that I am given. I look forward to a long career with the company.
Vanessa Ruddick Receptionist / Sales Negotiator	I joined Manning Stainton in March 2007 with no previous estate agency experience. I decided that I wanted to join the industry after buying my first house in January of this year. In such a short space of time since joining the Horsforth branch as an estate agency Receptionist/ Sales Negotiator I feel part of the team and have learnt a great deal.
Helen Warwick Sales Support	I joined Manning Stainton in 2006 as an Administrator after looking for a complete career change. I have always had an interest in property and I felt this role suited me as a starting point within the industry. I look forward to progressing with the company.
Helen King Weekend Sales Negotiator	I was born in Leeds and have lived here ever since. I married in 1990 and have two terrific sons that mean the world to me. After school and college, I started my career as a Travel Agent, which I thoroughly enjoyed and then briefly worked as an IFA for 2½ years until finding my present job with Manning Stainton in 2003, with whom I plan a long and rewarding career.
Nigel Richardson Viewer	I joined Manning Stainton in March 2002 having taking early retirement from a senior management role with a major bank. I am delighted to be employed as an Accompanied Viewer working for a dynamic employer in a dynamic industry. People are my interest and I am motivated to provide an informed and enjoyable viewing experience.
Asim Khalil Weekend Sales Negotiator	Having worked as a Weekend Sales Negotiator since 2001, I am a confident, articulate and approachable individual who prides himself on providing the highest quality of service to my customers. I appreciate that moving house or taking the first step onto the property ladder is one that can be fraught with tension and anxiety and see my role as crucial to ensuring a smooth and pleasurable buying or selling experience.
