Just one of the many questions asked when twenty six excited children from Manston St James C of E Primary School visited Crossgates estate agents, Manning Stainton at their Crossgates branch as part of a project on “houses and homes”.The children were shown around the offices and were particularly fascinated by the digital cameras and just how quickly details of properties for sale in Crossgates were prepared.
Questions such as “Do you sell palaces in Crossgates?” and “Do you have any house boats for sale in Crossgates?” were very relevant as the class is setting up a role-play area based on a Manning Stainton's estate agents Crossgates office…
Teacher, Clare Waddington, said the visit was an inspiration for the 4 & 5 year olds:
“We all thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the estate agency branch and are extremely appreciative to Manning Stainton for their enthusiasm and interest in this housing project.
Thanks too for all the ‘goodies’ provided by the esate agency staff, and their invitation to sponsor a colouring competition for the children!”
Crossgates esate agency manager, Lesley Taylor, and her team were impressed by the planning the children had done prior to the visit: -
“They’re bright as buttons, and we certainly had to think about some of the questions,” says Lesley, “Who knows, in 12 or 13 years’ time, some of these youngsters could well be esate agents at our crossgates branch!”
