Property Sales Fall as Market Cools
Figures released from the Land Registry show that the number of contracts exchanged for property for sale in postcode areas covered by Adel estate agents Manning Stainton have fallen by 13% when comparing the first half of 2006 with the first half of 2007.

HIPs Happening!
Many house owners across Adel, Guiseley and Horsforth believe that Home Information Packs have been scrapped! This is not the case. The next Home information Pack deadline comes into effect on the 1st August for properties with four or more bedrooms.

HIPs Happening!
The Government has confirmed its intention to make the provision Home Information Packs compulsory when almost all residential properties are put on the market for sale in England and Wales. The relevant date is the 1st June when sellers of property will be obliged to provide details of whether the property is freehold or leasehold, proof of ownership, a local search (or proof that one has been applied for) and an Energy Performance Certificate. This will typically add around £500 to the cost of selling an average property and see the disappearance of a ‘no sale – no charge’ market place which has existed for many years.

Cheque this Out, Kids say Adel estate agents Manning Stainton
A £250 donation from Adel Estate Agents Manning Stainton's Community Fund helped boost the annual fund-raising effort of our local Children’s Society committee recently - and members dropped into our Adel branch to say a big Thank You! Treasurer Jo Shepheard said the donation was a great help and would contribute to the important work the Society undertakes each year with over 50,000 children.

The kids at Weetwood Primary School Adel Leeds are so delighted with the digital camera recently bought for them by the Adel office of Leeds estate agents Manning Stainton, that they popped into the company's Adel estate agency branch on a thank-you visit.
