For the second year running Morley estate agents Manning Stainton is making a significant contribution to this year’s Morley Literature Festival.
The company helped fund the inaugural event last year and, following that success and a move into a much bigger pproperty showroom in Queen Street,Morley, Manning Stainton has pledged £750 from its Community Fund.
Marketing Manager Alison Pickles says the award winning estate agents are involved with many community initiatives and projects right across the branch network, supported by their Community Fund – established three years ago:-
“In addition to last year’s Festival we have provided help to The Salvation Army in Morley, the recent Brass Band Marching Competition, Morley FM Radio and now the 2007 Literature Festival. It is company policy to assist our local communities wherever possible” she said.
Morley’s Mayor, Cllr Joyce Sanders, together with Festival Director Paula Truman and Cllr Judith Elliot, Chair of the Festival visited Manning Stainton’s Morley Estate Agency Branch recently to thank the company.
Cllr Elliot said Manning Stainton’s self evident growth and success with property for sale in Morley proved the vibrancy and appeal of the town, attracting homebuyers and inward investment, and it is extremely encouraging that local businesses such as Manning Stainton are prepared to help with financial support.
